Press / Business contact:
Ian Campbell aka Bootdisk Revolution is a one-man indie game studio from Toronto, Ontario. I create challenging arcade games with interesting mechanics.
In December 2008, Ian Campbell quit his 3D animation studies to follow his dream of making videogames, under the name Bootdisk Revolution. His first title and magnum opus, Frequency, was a total flop and went nowhere. Over time his skills increased and his games flopped less, eventually culminating in a number of fun, well-received titles.Bleed and Bleed 2
In December 2012 Bootdisk Revolution released the action-platformer Bleed. The game was received much better than any of his previous works, placing in the top 20 of Microsoft's Dream Build Play competition and narrowly missing the PAX 10 (landing in the "PAX 11-13" instead.) The game released on Steam in July 2013, where it continued to find success. Encouraged by the positive response, along with many ideas left over from development, full-time work on Bleed 2 began late 2013. The sequel is planned to release in late 2016, or early 2017.
